If you only care about gems, the very last stage is pretty good for quickly seeing if you're gonna get gems or not. That said, I haven't tested enough to say 29-4 for absolute certain, I'm not sure if the earlier states might be better or whatever. But I know the two new blue gem stages are not (imo) manual blue gem farming stages. 29-8 does have gem pools to land on, but those only give 1 gem and you can only get two max due to split paths.
