Yup. JKUs (vs JKs) are sort of in a fuzzy area though. 2.5" will surely avoid issues; you might be able to get away with a 3" on a 4 door?? 4" will look silly with 33s. I am at about 4" of lift and 35s look small. (IMO) Look at is this way- your $1500 lift might be a $2000 lift ($500 for just a front DS) later.

No idea what you're running now but if its factory its close to 32". You will feel no difference between the two. Even going from a C or D to an E rated 33. The lift will add some drag or wind resistance. Probably notice a change in fuel mileage on the freeway. 6" lift and 33s may look out of proportion.
