I only use AMSoil Series 3000 5W-30 Heavy Duty Diesel Oil in my M1030M1. I good friend of mine is a retired VP from Kawasaki Corporation. He was the direct interface between Kawasaki and Fred Hayes at HDT when the HDT diesel was being developed and retrofitted to the KLR650 bikes. This AMSoil is what HDT decided on for the engine.

I am an avid motorcyclist, and with current fuel prices, this bike which is now going to be offered for sale in the civilian market should sell like hotcakes. It's a diesel-powered bike based on the Kawasaki KLR 650.Fred Hayes, the developer of the M1030M1 and CEO of HDT, died last year so that avenue for parts or information is gone.
