Back in February when we had that cold snap, it began to lose power when accelerating, usually around 3000rpms. The engine didn't cut off, but would just lose power and the car would slow down. After 10 seconds or so, it would kick back in and drive as normal.And that's obviously happening if you cycle power and limp clears. A number of things can trigger limp. Any gear slip or defective speed sensors is one example. If it's just the transmission or ECU modules a basic code reader should show the code. Can get these pretty cheap or even a bluetooth reader and phone app.

Turbo'd guys most likely have these limp mode issues due to the amount of air flow coming into the throttle body which we were able to bypass in the tunes for FI maps.
