Axes deal the most damage and have good ranges. Lumberjack makes them even more strong. Long blunts have a lot of variability, the crowbar is probably the best weapon in game overall, then you have the shovel that hits very hard, slow and without any stamina cost. You also have the baseball bat as a middle ground.
The strength would let you carry more and do more damage. Overall though the build looks fine and don't worry about what the meta is because people argue all the time on what's best.
