The bowfa grind is also the "getting better at pvm movement and prayer switching" grind. I really do recommend you do it. Start with T2 armour and when you're clearing it like 10 times in a row without dying, then move on to t1. Don't listen to the haters saying t2 is shit because it's really not a whole lot worse than t1.
For example, is slayer helm i on task required, or can it be done with full crystal with crystal helm? Also any other methods besides Tbow that can out dps the Jad healers if there are any. Crystal armor prayer bonus and defenses are great, but mostly only relevant in specific places (Inferno, fight caves, kree, zily, DKs and demonics come to mind).The fbow has armour considerations for learners who use defence as a crutch, and 4 tick attacking messes some people up following the zuk shield. Helm is worth like 12% zuk dps compared to justi or veracs. That's a huge difference. You can also lazy flick with quick prayers as fbow.
With dragon the BP with full armadyl barely beats bowfa with 0.03 more dps. Use it to train magic. Alch it. Good for tbowless inferno , gwd , slayer , raids, zulrah. Every single gwd boss, zulrah, cox, TOA, general slayer where you don't take damage if you aren't 99 range.
Fiddle with dps calc but its just a decent bow without boosts. Just finished Hydra @ 2153kc. 1.1k before 1k after BP nerf. Literally everywhere that bowfa is good except Shamans, you should be using crystal armour (+slayer helm if you're on task). Bandos, Zammy, Sara, CoX, ToB, Zulrah, Hydra. The armour doesn't use that many shards in general, and shards are fairly quick to get.It doesn't "unlock" the endgame, people did endgame content and raids and bossing for a long time before bofa existed. And before you say "bp was better back then", yes ok BUT it wasn't anywhere CLOSE to the power full crystal armor + bofa is. People just grinded with worse gear for a longer time.I was in a similar situation. But I also run 350s without insanity. I like easy wardens. On my UIM I got shafted armor seeds, we’re talking like 1/200+ CG per armor seed so I stopped after corrupt bow and pants. I could never compete with Bowfa and Armor weilders. If you're still running Vorkath, then use the DHCB. If you're broadening your horizons gameplay and money making wise, crystal set and bowfa all the way. Just make sure you got the other 40M for the armor. It's not worth it, without that. Yes bowfa is really good and used at a lot more places.
Depending on the situation the blowpipe can be better than bowfa, even with rune or ammy darts. On bosses that you can proc ruby bolts the rcb is insanely good dps for how bad of a weapon it is. For everything in between a normal crystal bow with the armour set does a decent job. There are options if you look for them

Crystal helm is always going to give you the most damage and accuracy when using bowfa (excluding Slayer helmet). If you want, you can use serp at zulrah so you don't need antivenoms but you're sacrificing dmg and accuracy. Same goes for justicar helmet in inferno for example. 7. Reply.

All in all the bow + armor is something youll hold for a VERY long time depending on if you do the proper route: bowfa rebuild -> shadow rebuild (not selling crystal) -> tbow -> scyth. Yeah if T bow is your entire bank and you want access to a lot more content I would definitely recommend selling for bowfa/full crystal plus other slayer gear. Zulrah for example T bow is only about 5% more DPS than bowfa. Now if you only plan on doing the few bosses T bow slaps at then by all means keep it.You need the crystal armor to use it on task, my understanding is it's like an msb with rune arrows without the armor/void. Having just finished SotE. The real power of BOWFA comes from the armor + bow combination. From CG the arm seeds are 1/50 drop rate, which averages 300kc for all 6. At 300kc you should be at 2k shards at least. There are other ways to get shards, but I, and I think others, would say just continue with CG to get the armour seeds, this should ...
Sometimes it's a bit inaccurate and you get a 3 minute kill though. Fruitdeeps.app website has toa bosses with invocation scaling calculator. I think amethyst darts with blowpipe* beats crystal bow but you will miss out on dps when on Zebak if you can't reach him while dodging waves or hiding behind the rocks.
