Whenever I get done cooking my prey, I always have to ditch my pan because it wont cool down. Either they take a very long time to cool off after being used, or they're bugged. Carrying a hot pan makes my character have a heat stroke. Maybe add the ability to dump water on a pan, or submerge it in a pond, to cool it off.So if you cook meat in cookware by itself it loses more calories. Which means less for you to eat. You just need to find 8 stones and craft a fireplace. You can get the stones by mining rocks with a pickaxe, go hiking on those tiny forest trails or follow the railway. They are usually laying on the ground. There's definitely more than 8 stones there o-o. Yeah, it does look far more effort when you craft it. Posted June 18, 2019. Hello 🙂. Any fireplace inside a house will despawn after 30 real life minutes (here we are talking only about the fire inside the chimney) Any fireplace ouside a house with or without attachements (tripod, stones, pot) will despawn after 2 real life hours.

I dont know about cooking pots but yellow cases and ammo boxes last much longer than 8 days. A buddy of mine has an ammo box laying behind his tent that he thru away two weeks ago and its still there. I have 12 yellow cases stashed around the airfield full of ammo and I put the first one down sometime last month.
