Yes, the 19 holds more rounds, but the 48 is more versatile. (You can get aftermarket 15rd mags for the 48 but I'm iffy on them after using them as range mags for the last 6 months.) It has good ergonomics, decent sights, and a nice trigger. And it's available in FDE now. The Glock 43 is a very good single stack as well.

The glock 26 is thick compared to the shield. Thickness matters for both comfort and concealment. As long as the 26 is not too thick for you then that’s the better choice IMO. If the reason you don’t carry the 19 is because it’s too thick, the 26 is no thinner and not much lighter. Being able to use the same mags is nice.

My G30 has been the most accurate Glock I've owned, but it is a brick. The Shield 45 is equally accurate and has been perfect through nearly 2k rounds. Both are fun to shoot and handle recoil well (the Shield surprisingly well for its size). There is an obvious capacity difference in favor of the G30.
