Yea, I have to agree with others, wheels don't work great in Forza 5. Something about the way they coded the handling it just doesn't feel quite right. I've tried all kinds of settings and recommendations from other players but can't get my G920 to feel "realistic". Drifting is also extremely difficult.
What I do is: In Moza Pit House set Maximum Steering Angle to 900 degrees. In the Forza Horizon 5 set Steering Sensetivity to 0.0. The result: The phisical wheel rotates 900 degrees but, In the game it's only 180 degrees. E.g. I rotate phisical wheel 90 degrees to the right and in the game wheels are turned all the way to the right.I've got both traction and stability control enabled. I'd say disable the assists and dial in a custom tune yourself. Try a FWD car and see if the same thing happens. Oversteer should be a car issue, not your steering wheel. The weight of the car during the slide pushes the tires in the opposite direction of the drift. During a drift, your rear tires are losing grip, not your front tires. The front tires just keep going their way.
