96 posts · Joined 2013. #12 · Jul 5, 2018. I was not able to get a OEM camera to work in my 2014 base W/T with the io3 radio. But I did install a Kenwood double din radio in it. I bought an OEM tailgate handle with the camera hole in it on ebay. I purchased a chinese made backup camera on ebay and mounted it in the OEM tailgate handle.

Interested to see what the response is to this - My wife has a 2009 Chevy Cobalt, it originally defaulted to show both the song title and artist, then we had the radio replaced due to the CD player not working anymore and now it defaults to the screen showing channel options. She was not happy at all.

Maybe call gm an get a p/n for it and see what it cost at one of the online gm supply houses and if its only a few bucks, swap it and see.BTW my Colorado Z71 has the 8” color screen and Uplevel DIC center. The fix was simply pressing the left arrow on the DIC control pad on the right side of the steering wheel. Up pops a phone menu on the DIC. Scroll down to Options and wham – the DIC suddenly turns back to showing MPH, etc.The head unit refers to the radio.
