Feb 7, 2022 · I ignore break in, I do let off the throttle often, don't let the motor get over hot, but run it hard from the first mile. I always get great ring seal and no oil use. If my wife's car had the equivalent of the Grom, my wife's car (1.5 liter 4 cylinder) would need 3 gallons of oil at oil change (the car holds something like 3.4 quarts.)

I was planning on doing that just for the initial break in after that I was gonna do everything else myself. I changed my oil at 300 and am about to do it again at 600.
