12 posts · Joined 2018. #1 · Dec 10, 2018. I picked up my new 19 3500 CC LB Duramax just 12 days ago and it seems as if there is a misfire under certain load conditions when accelerating. I noticed it the second day of driving it and have since put fuel in 2 times thinking maybe its water in the fuel tank but I still have the issue.

The connector is starting to go bad, and it's right now, an intermittent failure. Heat and vibration will kill it sooner than later. Replacement connector kit is available from AcDelco.
