There will be four studs sticking out of the block with eyelets and harnesses running to each one. It could be glow plug controller.

The glow plug light comes on for a few seconds when the engine is cold and doesn’t come on when the engine is hot so it acts like they are working as far as the dash indicator. The glow plug light comes on for a few seconds when the engine is cold and doesn’t come on when the engine is hot so it acts like they are working as far as the dash indicator. If I clear the codes they don’t come back until the next cold start.
