Description: This is a Ithaca model 49 for sale chambered in 22 Magnum. It is a single shot lever action rifle with an 18 inch barrel. The bore is excellent. The finish on the barrel and receiver is about 80-90% with some wear. The stock is structurally in great shape with a couple of very minor dings. I have heard that the lever action M-72's had some cycling problems in the mechanism. Shells would hang up when the lever was worked.
