I just performed a test on my own Kia Soul, (full spec's in my signature line) and here's what I found. At a cold start, my idling RPM was at 1300. After a brief warm up, that dropped to ~1000 RPM. Putting the AT in Drive, resulted in a drop to ~790 RPM. Turning on the AC, resulted in another drop, to ~750 RPM.I now noticed while idle (in drive, park and neutral) there is a vibration that is noticeable. This also only happens when the engine warms up. I have a 2018 Kia that started making a tapping noise about 1 month ago (no engine light, very low noise) before actually starting to shake and not accelerate. I’ve done oil changes regularly & just did a tune up. The check engine light goes from blinking to solid once I ran it, (stoped running it).Eco Mode does not make a difference.
