I was worried about LMG when I saw those first few videos on the new lab and stuff. It just seemed like too much for a youtube channel that, to this day, is mostly sustained by one man (however much he doesn't want to believe it). The financials aren't our business but with 100+ employees LMG is a pretty big and expensive company.

Yes LMG should have asked (if they do not recently openly claim to be the case) if GN reuse older benchmark value vs always make 100% new one with updated games-drivers to save time or not. Obviously a random LMG employee giving a tour is not a journalist either, LMG has no journalist and his not a news channels as well.

GN's video isn't an attack, it's a flashlight on some of LMG's recent practices that have dubious ethical standings that need to be addressed.
Linus' response of saying "we're working on it" doesn't change the critique that LMG is marketing itself as factual-first source and then sharing wrong and low quality data. LMG is really going for mas audience and entertainment. Gamers Nexus is most hard core need to touch grass obsessive compulsive stereotype you can imagine. If I want to see detailed GPU or CPU benchmrks and tests I will go to Gamers Nexus and Hardware Unboxed. For all general IT info I will go to LMG, they are far more entertaining to listen.
