Sep 22, 2023 · The Elegance does have more Club rooms and perks then the Colonial Club, but otherwise we like both and in fact there are things we like better about each. Post #1 - I don't think Coolist stayed at the Colonial just the Elegance and Mirage.

Between Majestic or Excellence, the Excellence Resort receives top recommendation - especially if ocean swimming is not a factor.

I have only stayed at the Elegance - just got back from our 3rd visit, and have heard good things about the Colonial as well! Dreams is all family. Elegance has family and AO sections. At Dreams, depending on the category booked you could be in a building closest to the ocean. At Elegance, only the AOs are next to the ocean. Family buildings are further in. But at either, even from the lobby it's no more than a 5 minute walk to the beach.
