When I first stepped onto Penn State’s campus during my sophomore year of high school, I knew I wanted to come here. Immediately, I could see myself living my college dream and became obsessed with the idea of becoming a Nittany Lion. I went back to our hotel room that day and researched the school for hours, eventually stumbling upon THON.

Every two years, second-year PLA students participate in a one-day trip to the Gettysburg Battlefield.
