If the engine is stopping after 3 seconds of running, it sounds like the parameter for idle shutdown time is incorrect. I wonder if someone thought it was minutes and changed the parameter from 300 seconds (5 minutes) to 3 seconds ( thinking it was 3 minutes.) I would review this.
