The only game mode that allows you to join ongoing match is free-for-all, and maybe 'sniper only' i forget. This glitch is completely absurd. We queued for 9 minutes to an unranked match then left the queue and joined a newcomer match. When we returned we could only reconnect to the unranked match we queued for for 9 minutes and didn’t connected to because we where in the queue. Its not a great solution mind you, but i think thats their reason until they find a better solution. Ubisoft support is a third party, if you do have any issues with siege you would be better off going to R6 fix, in this case though, it is not a glitch.
