I think darkmoon greatsword is more fun to play, ash of war is reslly good, range attacks are pretty useful but Maliketh's blade has great dps vs bosses with high hp due to percentage dmg on ash of war. There's no wrong option, both are good

Moonveil is really fast to use and does great damage. The nerf hasn’t changed that in the slightest. I think most weapons are better than the DMGS.
