Lml duramax crank no start.
The first thing you need to verify on a no-start condition is fuel pressure, so hook up a scan tool and check for any DTC codes. There are a few that might pop up, including a P0087 which indicates low fuel rail pressure. If there are no DTC codes currently set, log Fuel Rail Pressure with the scan tool while you crank the engine over.
Crank no start-leaking fuel. I changed the injectors/glow plugs on 06 Duramax 3500 LBZ and now have crank no start and leaks fuel when cranking. Checked all High pressure & return lines and no leaks. Primed system several times and still no start. I suspect that fuel leak is preventing it from starting, but cannot find the leak.Put the other end into the container and run the engine to fill that line. Then shut it off and remove the IGN 1 relay from beside the starter relay. empty out the container and keep the line full. Crank the engine for 15 seconds fully and measure the amount of fuel that comes out of that line.2013 lml no starting. If no signal to the BCM, check the pink wire on connector X1 at the BCM, pin 2, and the white wire connector X1 at the BCM pin 4. With the key in start position, both of these should have voltage. Pin 4 should have 5V.
Also bled the schraeder valve at the front of the motor. The truck cranks and sounds fine but will not start. I am thinking the fuel system is airbound. I have a P0193 code for fuel rail high pressure sensor signal high. I have read that this can be caused by low or no fuel as well. I do not smell fuel or see any black smoke while cranking.

It's happened to me twice now seems like after a long trip I'll shut vehicle off for a while n when I go to crank it back up it runs for 10 seconds or so n then dies n won't start back up. 8350 posts · Joined 2010. #3 · Sep 26, 2014. First, verify that the filter is full of fuel before starting. Do not use ether! After that make sure the lift pump is pushing fuel to the filter head. If fuel is definitely going to the motor and it still wont start and stay running then you need to check rail pressure. Good scanners are not cheap.

Unfortunately the fuel that is causing the issue is in the lines, pump, filter etc and needs to cycled, but because it is jelled it cannot be pumped.

Noticed that it seems to do it the worst when it's warm after a 30 mile trip or so... Even after a 13 hour day at work it will crank for awhile.
