Doing a samurai build and limiting myself to samurai themed weapons and armor. I didn't kill Yura early on because I figured I would get the Nagakiba alongside his armor in the mountaintops. He helped me kill Reduvia in Limgrave, I helped him kill the dude at Raya Lucaria Gate, but I'm pretty sure that's the last place I talked to him.

If your Nagakiba is +25, then with quality affinity it has a bleed buildup per hit of 45. With a bleed affinity (+25), bleed buildup per hit will be 82 base, with more added from a higher Arcane stat. To put those numbers into context - in order to trigger the bleed effect on General Radahn, you need to accumulate 335 bleed buildup.

There are a few spots he moves to for his quest line. Check if he left the sword at any location you can meet him.
