Oct 25, 2018 · FYI - I have a Heath-Zenith 74BASE digital chime with a 16VAC 10 Watt transformer. Previous door bell button had a diode across the terminals (per the manual), but doing that with the SimpliSafe doorbell didn't work. It appears that there is currently NO solution to get the SimpliSafe video doorbell to work properly with a digital chime. Bummer.

SimpliSafe has never given a formal or informal minimum VA requirement far as I know.
