Classic Sk8-hi aren’t comfortable to me. Skate Sk8-hi with the Pop-Cush insoles are very comfortable to me. The skate or pro variant of the sk8 hi will be more favorable. If you’re looking for comfort and multi use, I would look into the ultra range series. Honestly they’re comfortable to me. I’m looking for some durable Vans. The main difference is the thickness of the fabric. Vans tend to be more padded and have generally more overlapped layers while converse are still pretty much a couple layers of canvas with a padded rim sometimes. I think both shoes are great and wear both they wear similarly (vans tend to feel a little more snug). My suggestion would be to stick to the pro models. The insoles have way more support and cushion and are removable so you could put other insoles in them if there are others that work better for you.
