Uworld is harder than the actual test and if you can master uworld it will make the test seem very doable. I was scoring consistent 70's on my random 40 uworld blocks with a 73% overall average. First of all the forms are really good at predicting your score within 10 points. Larger variations >10 are probably predictable also in certain individuals. I took the mcat twice (505, then 509), and managed to still somehow get slightly above average on step 1 (237). The content is also pretty different in my opinion, because at least with step, you are learning content in class and while self-studying and you can actually apply it to patients/standardized patients.
