With Titewad (a fine grained flattened ball powder) that is designed more with small volume (tapered wall) hulls in mind, you will find a tall wad to be very beneficial in filling the hull. I have a great 1200-1250 FPS 1 ounce load for the Top Gun hull using the 6100 wad, but with Alliant Clay Dot powder (a fluffy flake powder).
