I'm not sure how the cover is attached but I can't remove it by screwing it off. I plan on moving to a free state and am wondering if there is a way of removing the cover from the threads without destroying the barrel.Features: 10rd Capacity. Raw Finish. Plastic Base Plate. So my father-in-law bought a GSG 1911-22 in Arizona. He would like to give it to my wifeb, but it has a threaded barrel which is not allowed in California where we are. I can't find a replacement barrel anywhere let alone without threads.
