Use JW to build endurance, move to UWorld for volume, finish up with AAMC cars diagnostic and Q packs closer to test date. Foolproof method. Just do as many as you possibly can. Use it to build endurance. UWorld is harder than AAMC. If you are missing 0-1 on JW, you should be good. Also, for CARS, there’s a really good 83 page pdf.
Definitely on the more difficult end of the spectrum. It focuses a lot more on content knowledge than AAMC does. But I didn't care one bit because their explanations and pictures gave me so much joy. I don't know if it is just the first couple questions, but AAMC forces you think much more intuitively than uworld. Uworld biochem is KICKING my butt. Same bro. Listen: Biochem is known to be hard in UWORLD, harder even than the other parts of UWorld. UWORLD is beautiful. It is life. It is very dissimilar to what you might see on the AAMC, because it is extremely content based and trying to really hone that content knife to a point.
Is AAMC material harder/more detailed than U-World? Prior to doing U-World, I took the TBR course and did most of the associated passages and practice tests. Despite getting a 508 and a 510 on my two TBR practice tests, I am so afraid that I will bomb AAMC material when it comes time to make the switch.
