Oryx is smaller than the xrs and less modular. XRS is definitely more geared for the prs realm on a budget. I like being able to use whichever grip I want on the oryx, however I would prefer having the option for Mlok on the side of the forend. One of the more budget-friendly chassis from MDT, the XRS has a lot in common with the KRG Bravo. A lot of plastic, but a solid frame under it all that makes for a good chassis. Personally, I like the design of the XRS a little better because of things like the interchangeable grip, small barricade stop, and the much cheaper accessories.

If you look at pictures of the KRG you'll see a cutout for bolt removal. MDT doesn't need this because of the lower comb.
