I bought a new Security 9 a few months ago and from day one I had light strike issues with it. Lately it's been 2-3 times per mag which is pretty bad. I was shooting factory Blazer Brass 115's and 124's as well as my reloads and the problem persisted no matter what ammo I used. Oct 27, 2007 · Point the gun in a safe direction. Hold the slide firmly in your weak hand. Now slam your strong hand into the back of the grip being sure to depress the grip safety as you do it. Remember the grip safety, if not depressed, will keep an XD locked shut. Hit it several times to free the stuck cartridge from the gun.

I dropped the mag and when I pull the slide back the entire barrel comes back with the slide. I got the take down pin out but same thing, barrel comes back with slide and will not go all the way forward (slide is jammed about a 1/4" to the rear).
