Subaru outback passenger window not working.
Oct 19, 2014 · 34 posts · Joined 2013. #2 · Oct 20, 2014. My rear windows hardly ever get used and can get stuck on the rubbers. Don't even start to budge. Seems like the motor has gone but it isn't. One time you do get it down, spray some silicon spray onto a rag and give the rubbers a wipe and the top of the window, see if that makes a difference.

Removed switch assembly, then very carefully spread the inner part of driver window switch to get it over the rocker peg, use finger between two front window switches to keep driver switch above rocker peg, then gently pry the other side of driver switch off its rocker peg. The window power wiring goes from the breaker to the power window relay, which is normally closed whenever the ignition key is at ON, and from there to the switches.

I found where Subaru issued this Unnecessary Power Window Switch Replacements – 2015-2017 Subaru Legacy & Outback. Turns out they did testing on several of the switches they replaced and discovered most of them were fine.
