I think by now most of us know what's up. "Mediocre" does not mean "suck". It means no real interest in that advanced skill set non-bass players (and most bass players) seem to take for granted. And it means love for the bass, and love for playing, and love from drummers because you are solid.

The neck is about as svelte as a baseball bat and the 100% genuine ebonized fingerboard is pitiful. The finish flakes off for no apparant reason and the end pin is so poor it feels like the thing is mounted on a swivel. Apparently they are custom spec'd Seymour Duncans. Sounds like a P bass but bit more focused (exactly like how JMJ described it). The bass came with a good quality padded Fender gig bag and not some cheap thin garbage lol. Totally usable for pro gigging.

If the bass is defretted you must fill the fret slots and sand level before applying epoxy. It's not easy to get a professional looking job but it can be done. I'd mix up a small amount and test the technique first on a small piece of hardwood.
