I find it more welcoming, less pretentious and still affordable. Both offer charm, excellent dining choices, beautiful views and personality. I find Savannah a little less touristy and original. If you have any interest, it is possible to drive an hour or less and visit Hilton Head Island for the day from Savannah. 4. Mt. Pleasant is a nice area.
