Keep in mind that 7.62 has quite a bit more drop than 5.56 ad well. A lot of AK accuracy woes in my experience are overstated because post and notch had a learning curve, and because people underestimate drop. They aren't precision rifles, but they will hit a man sized target at combat distances.
